SAP S/4 HANA Procurement Specialist

Procurement and Sourcing Expert Role:

As a seasoned consultant, you will play a vital part in configuring, implementing, and optimizing the SAP S/4 HANA system to meet business objectives. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements, processes, and goals, ensuring that the ERP system enhances productivity and supports organizational performance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Configure, implement, and optimize the SAP S/4 HANA system to meet business needs.
• Conduct design workshops with solution architects and perform fit-gap analysis.
• Create and maintain design documents, configurations, and integrations.
• Bridge the gap between business requirements and functional capabilities, ensuring the ERP system enhances productivity and supports organizational goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements, processes, and objectives.
• Document and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with SAP S/4 HANA capabilities.
• Work with solution architects to design solutions that effectively utilize SAP S/4 HANA to meet business goals.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate that the configured SAP S/4 HANA system meets business requirements and is free of defects.
• Assist in data migration efforts, ensuring accurate transformation and loading of legacy system data into SAP S/4 HANA.
• Support change management initiatives to help users adapt to the new SAP S/4 HANA system.
• Stay up-to-date with SAP S/4 HANA updates and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4 HANA modules with other systems and applications as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful SAP S/4 HANA projects.
• Train end-users and prepare training materials.
• Prepare test scripts covering all business scenarios.
• Assist users in UAT and resolve UAT issues.
• Provide solution architecture guidance for identified projects.
• Provide expert support to ongoing projects across the P2P Value Stream.
• Conduct delivery audits to assess quality of solution and highlight possible improvements.
• Identify and address client needs, communicate value propositions, manage resource requirements, project workflow, and prepare complex written and verbal materials.
• Help clients resolve implementation/integration issues requiring in-depth expertise in SAP P2P area.
• Create and maintain a knowledge-base of service delivery content based on reusable information and knowledge objects.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in the P2P space.
• Strong background in designing, developing, and interfacing with SAP data targets, extractors, and Activate methodology.
• Hands-on implementation experience in SAP MM/EWM with minimum 3-4 End-to-End implementations.
• Good knowledge of solution design and estimation related to SAP Financials.
• Experience designing global process blueprints for global procurement system implementations.
• Ability to manage small teams of consultants on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
