Key Responsibilities:

  • Creatign PCB footprint libraries and schematic symbols using industry standards
  • You will design PCB layouts independently from scratch, including constraint settings, component placement, routing, panelization, and Gerber package release
  • Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and supplier teams to design PCB layouts
  • Design PCB layouts considering DFM, DFA, and DFT
  • Consider board-level EMI/EMC and SI when designing PCB layouts
  • Resolve queries from PCB suppliers
  • Involved in PCB layout reviews, component library reviews, and DFM reviews

Ideal Candidate:

  • 8-12 years of experience as a PCB Design Engineer, preferably in a 2-wheeler organization
  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electronics and Communication, or Instrumentation and Control Engineering
  • Experience in high-speed design/RF, high-voltage, high-current design, metal-clad PCB, flex PCB designs
  • Sound knowledge of layer stackup design
  • Proficient in PCB tools - Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro
  • Familiarity with DFM tools - CAM350 or Valor etc.
  • Ability to collaborate with people to solve problems using a structured approach
  • Good communication skills and ability to handle/lead projects independently
  • Working on multiple projects as required
