Job Opportunity: Academic Guidance Specialist

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Guidance Specialist to provide expert guidance and support to prospective learners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting personalized counselling sessions, detailing available upskill courses, certification paths, eligibility, curriculum benefits, tools taught, and expected career outcomes. Additionally, they will address queries regarding course tools and software, entry-level requirements, and program pathways.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Personalized Counselling Sessions: Provide one-on-one guidance to prospective learners, discussing available courses, certification paths, and eligibility requirements.
  • Lead Management & Conversion: Manage and nurture inbound leads via phone, email, messaging apps, and in-person consultations to meet enrolment targets.
  • Enrolment Goal Fulfilment: Meet monthly and quarterly enrolment targets while maintaining high standards of transparent and ethical counselling.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with marketing and program teams to align on messaging, domain-specific course content, and recruitment strategies.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Empathetic and persuasive counselling approach with strong interpersonal sensitivity.
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment with an emphasis on process compliance and detail.
