Your Role And Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of high-performance systems, architecting processor core front-end pipeline units for industry-leading results.
  • Develop and implement innovative architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance I-Cache, Instruction Fetch, Branch Prediction, and Decode units of a high-performance processor CPU.
  • Drive feature development, estimate effort, and optimize silicon area and wire usage for next-generation features.
  • Collaborate with global teams to develop micro-architecture, design RTL, and verify hardware designs.
  • Ensure pre-silicon design meeting functional, area, and timing goals as a Logic Design Lead.
  • Contribute to post-silicon lab bring-up and validation of hardware, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing strategic guidance and expertise in logic design leadership roles.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Proven experience in designing specific CPU units (e.g., I-Cache, Instruction Fetch, Branch Prediction, Instruction Decode).
  • Hands-on expertise in different Branch Prediction techniques, deep understanding of Out of Order, Super Scalar, Multi-Threaded Core Architecture and ISA.
  • Experience with high-frequency instruction pipeline designs, at least 1 generation of Processor Core silicon bring-up experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry microprocessor designs (e.g., x86, ARM, or RISC-V processor designs).
  • Proficiency in RTL design with Verilog or VHDL, knowledge of at least one object-oriented or functional programming language and scripting language.
