About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Helius Technologies as a Senior Engineer for iSeries and AS400 Infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of iSeries/AS400 systems, including experience in iASP environment with Power HA, Admin Domain, and copy services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, with a focus on infrastructure and technical support. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Administration of AS/400 System i with iASP
  • Experience/exposure in related hardware/software areas
  • iASP (iseries) server technologies including planning and implementation of upgrades with HMC and VIOS managements
  • OS400 security, BRMS backup, operations monitoring, alerting, data replication and SKLM encryption
  • Manage software like IBM-MQ, CDC Replication, Robot products and related SIEM tools
  • Planning/Review and implementation of IBMi-OS, PTFs and application software upgrades
  • Troubleshooting skills for data, application/system performance problems by utilizing tools like IBM idoctor, performance manager and Job watcher
