Android Software Engineer Job Opportunity

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Software Engineer to join our team. As an Android developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced Android applications using Java or Kotlin programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Bug fixing and improving application performance.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Android development.
  • Proficiency in Java/Kotlin programming languages.
  • A strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • An understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
