Software Development Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced software development engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex software systems that leverage generative AI technologies.

Our ideal candidate is someone who has a strong background in software development and experience working with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. You should also have knowledge of computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, algorithms, and problem-solving.

In addition to technical skills, you must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex software systems that leverage generative AI technologies
  • Collaborate with AI/ML scientists to translate research innovations into production-ready software solutions
  • Establish engineering standards for system performance, reliability, and responsible AI implementation
  • Provide technical leadership in designing and implementing robust testing, evaluation, and monitoring frameworks for AI applications
  • Mentor junior engineers on software development best practices and technical implementation strategies
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Experience with data structures, algorithms, software design principles and databases
  • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, algorithms, and problem-solving
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and effectively communicate technical concepts
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI architectures
  • Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS AI/ML offerings
  • Demonstrated interest in staying current with rapidly evolving AI technologies and research
