Job Role:

As a Nutrition Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments of employees and patients visiting the Occupational Health Center, designing tailored dietary plans, and providing expert guidance on healthy eating habits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough nutritional assessments of employees and patients
  • Develop personalized diet plans to address lifestyle disorders (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, obesity, cardiovascular conditions)
  • Provide expert guidance on nutrition and wellness for occupational risks and high-temperature environments
  • Design and implement balanced menu plans for canteens
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and portioning in canteens
  • Counsel employees on healthy eating practices and provide education on nutrition
  • Develop and implement nutrition programs to support worker well-being
  • Lead awareness sessions on healthy eating and workplace nutrition
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals in OHC to ensure optimal health outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of dietary assessments and menu plans

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
  • Registered Dietician certification is highly preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nutrition Specialist in occupational health or hospital settings
  • Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and preventive healthcare principles
  • Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills
