Job Title: .NET Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying and hosting .NET applications in both .NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET 6+ environments.

  • Deploy and host .NET applications in both .NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET 6+ environments.
  • Proactively monitor application performance and availability, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
  • Configure and maintain IIS for optimal web hosting of .NET applications.
  • Apply necessary security patches and software updates for .NET applications and their underlying infrastructure.
  • Maintain and optimize application configurations across all environments (Development, QA, UAT, Production) to ensure consistency and stability.
  • Closely coordinate with development teams to support release management processes and the overall application lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in .NET Administration and application support.
  • Hands-on developer experience in C#.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with managing deployments of both .NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET 6+ applications.
  • Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting IIS.
  • Ability to monitor application performance and availability effectively, utilizing relevant tools.
  • Experience with applying security patches and software updates in a production environment.
  • Proficiency in managing and optimizing application configurations across multiple environments.
  • Familiarity with release management processes and coordinating with development teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
