Job Title:

Data Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a Data Engineering Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement efficient data processing systems in Python.
  • Work with SQL databases for data modeling, queries, and performance optimization.
  • Implement and optimize solutions using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, RDS, and EC2.
  • Ensure data security, reliability, and compliance within cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable advanced analytics and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor data workflows and cloud resources.
  • Maintain documentation of system architecture, processes, and best practices.
Must-Have Skills
  • AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, Developer, or Data Analytics – Associate/Professional).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, Glue, Redshift, IAM).
  • Strong programming skills in Python (data handling, APIs, automation).
  • Solid knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures, performance tuning).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with data warehousing and big data frameworks.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
  • Exposure to machine learning pipelines in AWS (SageMaker).
