Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Lead to oversee the development and implementation of our data integration processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work with large-scale data environments, data lakes, or cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

As an ETL Lead, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse. You will also be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing in DevOps environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica, Talend, SSIS, AWS Glue, or similar tools
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Collaborate with database administrators to optimize database performance and resolve issues related to data validation, querying, and analysis
  • Work with data analysts and scientists to understand business requirements and develop data models and database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our data integration processes

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in ETL testing, data quality assurance, or a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation, querying, and analysis
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data warehouse concepts
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating testing in DevOps environments

Preferred Skills

The following skills are desirable but not mandatory:

  • Experience working with BI reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) for test automation
  • Familiarity with data lake and cloud platforms
