About the RoleThis is a critical position ensuring accurate investment accounting and supporting staff with complex entries and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:- General ledger accounting management
- Investment accounting (platforms such as Sage, QBO, Geneva, Investran)
- Consolidated accounting concepts (eliminating entries) implementation
- Private equity accounting services
- Wealth enterprise accounting (entity cost allocation)
- Trust & foundation accounting solutions
- Basic tax treatments application
- Hands-on experience with both investment performance platforms (e.g., Black Diamond) and accounting systems (e.g., Sage, QBO)
- Proven track record in investment accounting for family offices or similar environments
- Ability to train and support staff on complex accounting entries and reconciliations
The ideal candidate will have at least 9 years of experience in US accounting, excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
