Job Opportunity: Automated Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in the Information Technology group. This role will involve creating and executing test cases to ensure our software systems meet functional and technical requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Test new system software versions using automated testing tools, including functional, user acceptance testing (UAT), performance, and regression testing on trading and financial applications.
  • Create, maintain, and update test cases and regression scripts based on business requirements.
  • Report and manage software issues and test activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Attend project meetings to discuss issues and report on testing status.
  • Follow quality assurance standards and policies.
  • Provide estimates to help QA management produce an accurate schedule.
  • Support Product Management in testing various business scenarios and verifying functionality to be implemented.
  • Maintain application versions and facilitate version upgrades in all environments.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of OpenText Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
  • Experience with bug tracking software and Test Case Management Tools.
  • Ability to design, code, and document automated test cases within a defined framework.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, C#, or C++.
  • Familiarity with financial products, e.g., FX, Rates, Credit, Commodities.
