Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Energy Documentation Specialist to join our team at Siemens Limited in Gurgaon. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation for our energy solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, with a proven track record of producing error-free, reader-friendly documents in English. You will be proficient in using CCMS solutions, LaTeX, XML-based architectures, and version control systems such as Git.

You will work closely with subject matter experts and authors to clarify content-related issues and ensure that all documentation meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A university degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in writing technical documentation, preferably 5 years;
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with a strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and style;
  • Familiarity with style guidelines and document type definitions, and experience implementing them in editorial tools;
  • Technical knowledge and experience in tools such as CCMS solutions, LaTeX, XML-based architectures, and version control systems;
  • Basic scripting skills to handle information transfer through APIs;
  • Basic media editing skills for quick fixes;
  • Experience working in international development teams and agile environments;
  • Knowledge of task management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and Asana.
