Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced tax professional to join our team as a Senior Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling tax matters, assisting clients in responding to department enquiries, and preparing replies to Show cause notices.
The role involves meeting with tax officers, preparing tax appeals, and assisting seniors in representation before various judicial forums. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling Tax Matters: Preparation of submissions, replies to notices, appeals, and representation during meetings with tax authorities.
- Client Assistance: Supporting clients in responding to the department during enquiries, investigations, and audits.
- Tax Appeal Preparation: Preparing tax appeals for filing at the Joint Commissioner (Appeals) and the Court.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Law graduate from a reputable institution with a strong academic track record.
- Experience: 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in Indirect Tax, preferably in GST, Customs, etc.
