Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled NetApp and Cohesity administrator to manage and support our data infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Manage and configure NetApp ONTAP systems, including storage provisioning, volume creation, snapshots, and replication.
  • Data Availability: Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical data using NetApp SnapMirror and SnapVault.
  • Storage Optimization: Implement and optimize NetApp deduplication, compression, and thin provisioning to maximize storage efficiency.
  • Capacity Planning: Perform storage capacity planning, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Data Security: Ensure data security through NetApp FlexVol, encryption, and access controls in accordance with security best practices.
Cohesity Administration
  • Data Protection: Administer Cohesity DataPlatform to deliver backup, recovery, and data management solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Centralized Management: Configure and optimize Cohesity Helios for central management and monitoring of data protection tasks across multiple sites.
  • Data Policy Management: Implement and manage data policies for backup, archiving, and retention, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve backup and recovery issues, ensuring data consistency and availability across Cohesity protected environments.
Virtualization Support
  • VMware vSphere: Assist with VMware vSphere environments, including VM provisioning, resource management, and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Hyper-V: Provide support for Hyper-V environments, managing virtual machines, and ensuring backup and recovery.
  • Cisco UCS: Assist with managing Cisco UCS systems, configuring hardware, and troubleshooting for high availability and performance.
Backup and Performance
  • Reliable Backup Operations: Ensure reliable backup operations across NetApp and Cohesity, validating jobs and managing data retention policies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize storage and virtualization performance, plan for future capacity needs.
Security and Compliance
  • Security Controls: Implement security controls and ensure compliance with data protection regulations across platforms.
Technical Support
  • Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and resolve issues related to storage, backup, and virtualization environments.
