Senior Secondary Chemistry Educator Wanted

A highly skilled and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Chemistry is required to teach senior secondary students typically for grades 11 and 12. Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive lesson plans, evaluating student progress, maintaining a disciplined classroom environment, communicating with parents, and participating in ongoing training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards ensuring effective instruction in specialized subjects like chemistry

  • Evaluate and monitor student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations providing constructive feedback to facilitate learning and improvement

  • Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment by addressing behavioral issues promptly and promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity

  • Regularly communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and development through regular updates and meetings

  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay updated with educational best practices and subject matter advancements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in the relevant subject area along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree from a recognized institution

  • Prior teaching experience preferably at the senior secondary level is highly desirable

  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills are essential along with proficiency in integrating technology into teaching
