Senior Analog Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Design Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Analog Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the characterization of analog mixed signal macros.

With your expertise in analog-digital interface timing model extraction and correlated timing model data to Hspice simulations for accuracy checks, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate models for AMS macros.

You will also extract and analyze timing models for complex analog circuits, correlate and verify timing model data with Hspice simulations, and utilize automation techniques (shell/perl/tcl or python) to streamline design processes.

In addition, you will leverage 3-4 years of experience in library characterization for AMS macros and have hands-on experience with NanoTime software.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of timing fundamentals, familiarity with Hspice/Spectre simulators, and proficiency in automation using shell/perl/tcl or python.

Furthermore, you will demonstrate organized and methodical communication skills, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Characterize Analog Mixed Signal Macros: Develop and maintain accurate models for AMS macros.
  • Analog-Digital Interface Timing Model Extraction: Extract and analyze timing models for complex analog circuits.
  • Timing Model Data to Hspice Simulations: Correlate and verify timing model data with Hspice simulations.
  • Methodology and Flow Improvements: Utilize automation techniques (shell/perl/tcl or python) to streamline design processes.

Requirements:

  • NanoTime Expertise: Hands-on experience with NanoTime software is required.
  • Timing Fundamentals: Solid understanding of timing fundamentals is essential.
  • Hspice/Spectre Simulators: Familiarity with Hspice/Spectre simulators is desirable.
  • Automation Skills: Proficiency in automation using shell/perl/tcl or python is required.
  • Effective Communication: Organized and methodical communication skills are necessary for seamless collaboration.
