Cyber Security Analyst – Cyber Risk Metrics

Location:

FedEx Information Security plays a pivotal role in safeguarding enterprise systems and data through agile business strategies, reliable systems, and robust information security controls. The Global Info Sec team works tirelessly to shield the enterprise from cyber threats, secure operations, and ensure global regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

We seek a highly motivated individual who excels at solving intricate problems and finds routine tasks mundane. Strong analytical skills, coupled with a passion for working with complex data, are essential. A collaborative mindset and effective teamwork are also crucial.


Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. Collaborate with the development of data & analytics platforms for Cyber Security teams within FedEx.
  2. Design and implement data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses, while unlocking value from data to inform FedEx Cyber Security business decisions.
  3. Deliver data and analytics/business intelligence solutions to leadership teams to facilitate informed business decisions.
  4. Ongoing maintenance and monitoring of data pipeline services and BI platforms.
  5. Development and enforcement of engineering methods and best practices for delivering high-quality, well-documented, and code-reviewed shared data sets.
  6. Identification, design, and implementation of process improvements (e.g., automation, optimized data delivery, re-designed infrastructure for increased scalability).
  7. Cross-functional support for analytical requests from both internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Data pipeline architecture optimization.
  9. Assembly of large, complex data sets meeting business requirements.
  10. Infrastructure development for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse data sources using ingestion techniques and Azure technologies.
  11. Implementation of scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, validation, and implementation.
  12. Addressing complex cyber security issues with available data to deliver actionable insights supporting business objectives.
