Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Equity Research Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing financial modeling, conducting industry analysis, and creating detailed reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial models with scenario analysis.
  • Carry out discounted cash flow (DCF), relative, sum-of-the-parts (SOTP) and other relevant valuation methods.
  • Create detailed assumptions and valuations with clear rationale.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify investment opportunities and support portfolio managers/CIOs in their investment decisions.
  • Discuss investment ideas and stock updates with portfolio managers/CIOs.
  • Prepare earnings reviews, previews, attend conference calls and management meetings.
  • Develop pitch notes/presentations, industry and thematic notes.
  • Maintain databases and collect/analyze news.
  • Handle ad-hoc research requests.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exceptional financial modeling and report-writing/presentation-making abilities.
  • Ability to think critically about drivers and key performance indicators (KPIs) across various sectors.
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to handle multiple workflows under tight deadlines.
  • Numerical aptitude.
  • Capacity to build complex, error-free models with well-defined revenue/cost driver assumptions.
  • Earnings sensitivity analysis skills.
  • Ability to provide own valuation views after conducting relative, DCF-based or industry-specific valuations.
  • Effective writing skills.
  • Ability to write in a logical and structured manner that minimizes rework.
  • Capacity to create bulletins and one-page summaries.
  • Linking macro/industry analysis to output.
  • Building effective presentations.
  • Collecting news, summarizing and providing analysis that adds value, and preparing charts, tables, and databases.
