Medical Device Servicing Specialist

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to manage medical device turnaround at our facility.
  • The role involves disinfection, electronics checks, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance for safe redeployment of medical devices.

About the Job:

  2. Perform disinfection and cleaning of medical devices as per established standards and procedures.
  3. Inspect devices for functional issues after patient usage and conduct routine QC checks.
  4. Replace components and consumable parts where needed and maintain calibration logs.

Troubleshooting & Basic Repairs

  • Diagnose control unit electronics issues and perform minor repairs, including software/firmware updates if required.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for advanced repairs or escalations.

Device Deployment Support

  • Responsible for device pickups and installations at hospitals/home-care centers when needed and provide basic usage training to nursing staff or caregivers.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate service logs, device usage hours, complaints, and interventions.
  • Prepare regular reports for stakeholders on device performance and maintenance activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in servicing medical equipment, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic devices, medical equipment, and hospital infection control practices is essential.
