Job Title: MES Application Expert

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the plan, design, configuration, development, and testing of our manufacturing execution system.

This individual will work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless implementation and maintenance of the application. Additionally, this role will collaborate with other teams to enable closed-loop manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, configure, implement, develop, and maintain our manufacturing execution system application to meet the needs of our operations.
  • Analyze, design, configure, develop, and test requested functionality in the development environment.
  • Install and configure high availability for our manufacturing execution system application.
  • Support the operations team to test and accept new changes in our test environment.
  • Collaborate with the DBA team to migrate newly developed functionality to the production environment with minimal negative impact on the business.
  • Monitor the manufacturing execution system application to ensure normal operation in the production line.
  • Maintain documentation for key applications.
  • Follow industry leading practices for Software Development Life Cycle and company policies and practices.
  • Collaborate with global IT team for MES projects and support activities.
  • Train junior or new members of the team and users as required.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience and knowledge in planning, designing, configuring, developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing execution system application.
  • Experience in leading and implementing 2 or more deployments of MES implementation.
  • Proficiency in Modelling, Printing & Labeling Change, CIO setting, Portal Layout Changes, and Business Rules.
  • Experience and knowledge in MES Designer.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
  • Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
