Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a Stress Engineer to perform stress analysis of metallic and composite aircraft structures using classical methods, ISAMI, GFEM, and DFEM.
  • Responsibilities include extracting loads, stresses, material data, geometry details, and fastener specifications from part and assembly drawings.
  • The ideal candidate will apply appropriate static design values from standard references, create and refine Finite Element Models (FEMs) using geometric data, and conduct sizing of primary and secondary structures to meet static requirements.
  • A key aspect of this role is extracting fastener loads and performing detailed joint analysis, calculating Reserve Factors (RF) for various failure modes, including strength, buckling, shear panel failure, and identifying mitigations using classical or numerical methods.
  • This position also involves preparing stress certification dossiers, including ACD4 and SSR reports, and collaborating with design, loads, and certification teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
