Job Title: Tech Lead

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned tech leader to spearhead the development of our technology stack. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role that requires a strong grasp of distributed systems, microservices, and API design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build core systems from scratch, including backend, APIs, orchestration engines, and infrastructure.
  • Shape architecture decisions that will define the future of our platform.
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and growth.
  • Influence technical culture, standards, and early team-building efforts.

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience building and shipping backend systems (Go and Python strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of AWS stack: EC2, RDS/Postgres, Redis, networking basics (VPC, NAT, IGW).
  • Comfort with DevOps (Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, ECS).
  • Bonus: Geospatial systems (H3, OSRM, Redis Geo), real-time platforms, or ML inference integration.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: excited about ownership, ambiguity, and speed over perfection.
