Job Title: API Automation Lead

Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our API automation efforts. As a key member of our Quality Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing test automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design automated test scripts using programming languages such as Java and JavaScript.
  • Build scenarios with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber and Specflow.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers in the development of test automation frameworks.
  • Define and track Quality Engineering metrics to measure team performance.
  • Cross-browser testing/automation using SauceLabs/BrowserStack.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Strong expertise in Java, JavaScript, and programming languages.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with BDD frameworks – Cucumber, Specflow, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
  • Ability to work in a flexible/fast-paced Agile environment.
