Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

A seasoned professional with expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable solutions for various technologies. Collaborate with a team to mentor associates and ensure development efforts are well-documented and delivered with quality.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams to deploy solutions across open-source and cloud technologies.
  • Architect open-source and cloud-related technology solutions involving storage, messaging, streaming, analysis, scalability, development operations, and security.
  • Support pre-sales Professional Services teams to drive open-source and cloud technologies, providing technical expertise to customers.
  • Contribute to customer requirements and design to achieve customer business goals, contributing to scoping, planning, implementing, testing, and methodology.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Proven skills in designing, securing, and deploying large-scale applications and solutions.
  • Awareness of major cloud vendor environments (development, access, migration).
  • Strong development skills in open-source and cloud technologies.
  • Moderate skills integrating third-party tools and solutions.
  • Experience in at least one development language (e.g., Java, Python) and one messaging protocol (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS).

Deliverables

  • Perform core project work with minimal supervision.
  • Provide data and situational analysis and in-depth evaluation for individual technologies.
  • Author and coordinate technical documentation.
  • Coordinate cross-team and practice initiatives as necessary to support Professional Services.
