Role Overview :

We are seeking an exceptional DevOps Specialist to optimize our software development lifecycle and enhance cloud infrastructure efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and cloud platforms. This role requires close collaboration with development, operations, and security teams to ensure efficient deployment, high availability, and optimal application performance.


Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the build, test, and deploy processes.

- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Prioritize cloud cost optimization and ensure compliance with company standards.

- Collaborate with developers to ensure applications are designed for high availability and disaster recovery, leveraging containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, ensuring consistency and reproducibility across environments.

- Utilize monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) to ensure system performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments.

- Ensure the security of cloud environments, including patch management, vulnerability assessments, and implementing best practices for secure coding and deployment.

- Automate repetitive tasks to improve productivity and reduce manual intervention, leveraging scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, ensuring scalability and efficiency in application deployment.


Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Prachas Technologies values relevant experience and skills over formal education.


- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or System Engineering roles, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and automation.


- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or TravisCI.


- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and expertise in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.


- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix system administration and shell scripting, with knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).


- Understanding of network protocols and security best practices, with experience in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
