Lead Local Azure Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our local Azure endeavors. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, design, and implementation of local Azure clusters, including Azure Stack HCI and AKS on-prem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy local Azure clusters, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure
- Configure virtual networks, subnets, NSGs, and UDRs for secure and efficient connectivity
- Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance measures to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity
- Deploy and manage Azure Stack HCI OS on validated hardware, registering the cluster with Azure and enabling Azure Arc for hybrid management
- Set up Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) for Azure Stack HCI, configuring Azure File Sync, Blob Storage, and local backup solutions
- Ensure data security and compliance through the application of Azure Security Center policies and recommendations
- Monitor cluster health and performance metrics, troubleshooting issues related to networking, storage, or compute
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in Azure Stack HCI and AKS on-prem deployments
- Excellent knowledge of virtual networking, storage, and security configurations
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, or Ansible for automation and configuration management
- Strong understanding of containerization and DevOps practices, including AKS and Azure Container Registry (ACR)
