Job Title: Automation QA Engineer

We are seeking an experienced automation QA engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automation test frameworks to ensure the stability and performance of our applications.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong passion for quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation test scripts using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing through automation.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
  • Execute test cases, identify bugs, and log defects using appropriate tools.
  • Integrate test cases with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Review test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed feedback.
  • Mentor junior QA members and contribute to process improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Good to Have:
  • Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Experience in BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
  • Knowledge of cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
