We are currently seeking an experienced Closure Design Engineer to collaborate with our cross-functional teams on developing innovative closure systems for the automotive sector.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and 4-6 years of experience in closures design and development. This role involves designing and developing closure systems, working with sheet metal, aluminum, extrusions, and plastics parts.

  • Closure System Development:
  • Design and develop closures systems for automotive applications, including front doors, rear doors, tailgates, engine hoods, and fender systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute closure system projects.
  • Develop and deliver presentations of design concepts and master sections.
  • Perform tolerance stack-up and GD&T analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BE (Mechanical / Automobile) degree with 4-6 years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience in automobile domain and closures design.
  • Proficiency in CATIA and PLM software's like Team Center.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents.
  • Good technical knowledge of automotive sheet metal parts, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
