Teaching and Research Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill a Professor of Practice role in our Computer Science Department.

This position is designed for professionals with significant industry experience who can share their knowledge and expertise to enhance our academic programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver industry-relevant teaching and mentorship to undergraduate and postgraduate students, focusing on real-world applications and practical problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to design and update curricula that incorporate current industry trends and technologies.
  • Work closely with industry partners to facilitate internships, live projects, and workshops, providing students with hands-on experience and exposure to emerging technologies.
  • Provide expert guidance on technology implementation, innovation, and research methodologies.
  • Participate in university initiatives to enhance employability, skill development, and professional growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; a PhD is preferred.
  • Significant industry experience in software development, systems engineering, data science, cybersecurity, AI/ML, or other relevant domains.
  • Demonstrated expertise in programming languages, software frameworks, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey technical knowledge and collaborate with stakeholders.
