Middleware Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Middleware Technical Lead to drive the architecture, deployment, and management of our middleware technologies. As a Middleware operations expert, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization's application ecosystem by providing operational support, ensuring system stability, and working closely with development, infrastructure and security teams to ensure smooth operations of middleware components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and architecture of middleware solutions, ensuring they align with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to create reliable and scalable middleware architectures.
  • Develop documentation, architectural diagrams, and best practice guidelines.
  • Implement automation scripts for deployment, configuration management, and monitoring using tools like Ansible or Puppet.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 - 5 years of experience in middleware administration, with expertise in platforms like Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, JBoss, WebLogic, IBM MQ.
  • Proven experience in middleware architecture and design for large-scale environments.
  • Extensive knowledge on Apache Tomcat / Apache HTTPD / Nginx / IIS / Oracle Weblogic / Oracle Httpd server.
  • Unix / Linux & Windows operating systems.
  • Shell scripting.
  • Networking concepts.
  • Perl scripting.

  • Knowledge on Messaging queue services like Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ.
  • Knowledge on Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions.
  • LDAP tools like Open LDAP, IBM LDAP.
  • Knowledge on Microfocus Enterprise server for Mainframe application deployments.
