Our Ideal Candidate

 

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the architecture of our global communication platform.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing team and guide architectural decisions
  • Set engineering standards that define how our product is built
  • Architect systems in NestJS and Golang to meet global scale and enterprise-grade performance
  • Drive design for microservices, real-time comms, and data stores
  • Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain CI/CD discipline
  • Mentor and upskill backend engineers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, DevOps, and product leaders
  • Manage task allocation, workflow discipline, and ensure smooth collaboration with frontend and DevOps

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6-8+ years in backend engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Expertise in Golang and Node.js (NestJS)
  • Strong database tuning skills (PostgreSQL, Redis)
  • Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable deployment
