Job Description:

Software Engineering Manager– C++/C#/Java

The Opportunity

We're seeking an exceptional Software Engineering Manager– C++/C#/Java to lead and manage a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. As a key member of our Server Team, you'll drive innovation and efficiency, serving as a subject matter expert within the product domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Exhibit strong technical expertise and effective people management skills.
  2. Serve as a subject matter expert within the product domain to customers and other stakeholders.
  3. Participate in technical design and architecture discussions, ensuring high-quality solutions.
  4. Oversee the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring their dependencies are managed and priorities are met.
  5. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time.
  6. Work closely with cross-team and cross-functional partners, including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  7. Ensure product maintenance by consistently resolving support cases and defects reported by QA.
  8. Enhance the product quality by continuously reviewing the issues reported by customers and product certification.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree required.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role, encompassing both technical and people management responsibilities.
  3. Experience in one or more object-oriented programming language and relational databases, preferably C++ and Microsoft SQL Server.
  4. Experience in technical design, architecture, and problem-solving.
  5. Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  6. Strategic thinking with a focus on long-term goals and continuous improvement.
  7. Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
