Job Title

An advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing NC programs and manufacturing processes for aerospace products.

This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production of high-quality components, adhering to industry standards.

  • Develop NC programs using CATIA V5 based on part geometry and programming guidelines.
  • Validate NC programs through Vericut Software to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop setup sheets for machine operators to facilitate production.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with Aerospace manufacturing engineers on work packages, ensuring clear communication on project requirements and rework.
  • Collaborate with production teams and vendors to enhance manufacturing processes and tooling design.

Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure all NC programs and processes comply with safety and quality standards.
  • Participate in the review and validation of tool designs and manufacturing processes.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of NC programs, process plans, and quality reports using MS Office applications.

Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering:

A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in NC programming using CATIA or similar software is required. The ideal candidate should possess strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials. Proficiency in GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2018) standards for mechanical design is also essential.

  • Ability to create and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

This position requires expertise in NC programming for 5-axis CNC machines and knowledge of CATIA V5 and Vericut Software. Experience in machining is preferred but not necessary.
