Job Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled Technical Content Developer to join our team. This role will be responsible for creating high-quality user manuals and technical documents for model libraries and tools methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain user manuals in DITA XML using Oxygen Author, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and design teams to gather inputs and manage document reviews.
  • Ensure timely release of documents aligned with product schedules.
  • Maintain accuracy of documents within tight deadlines.
  • Keep documents up-to-date with evolving customer needs and technological advancements.
  • Proactively track and coordinate with technical writers for current and upcoming projects.
  • Assist product development teams in reviewing and editing internal documentation.
  • Follow established doc conventions as per the Synopsys Style Guide.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with XML code and Python code for creating and maintaining document contents.
  • Accountability for assigned tasks.
  • Good team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Tools:
  • DITA XML authoring.
  • Familiarity with XML code.
  • VS Code.
  • Adobe Acrobat.
  • MS-Office.
  • Screen Capturing tool.
  • Version Control System - GitHub.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Optimistic attitude to learn and improve.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle and Document Development Life Cycle.
  • Ability to create doc templates and write documents from scratch.
  • Flair for writing and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of English, with familiarity with American English spellings.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in writing user manuals/technical documents preferably from EDA/semiconductor industry.
  • Expertise in GitHub processes.
