Accounting Team Leader

Welcome to the role of Accounting Team Leader, where you will play a pivotal part in our organization's financial success.

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Accounts Payable team, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience in team management. They will be responsible for monitoring daily workflows, managing a team of invoice processors, and ensuring that all AP processes comply with internal control and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workflow Management: Monitor and distribute daily workloads among team members, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of invoice processors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • SLA and KPI Management: Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Exception Handling: Identify and resolve exceptions and escalations, communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record of team leadership.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Outlook and MS Office, with excellent Excel skills.
  • Add-on Skill: Familiarity with Oracle Fusion is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Education: B.com or M.com/MBA preferred.
