At TCS, we seek a seasoned professional to spearhead our data engineering efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software architecture and solution design, including microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.

With a strong background in Python and Spark, this expert will be well-versed in ETL data processing and data engineering practices.

A master's degree or relevant certifications are highly advantageous for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using tools like EMR, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, API Gateway, Athena
  • Lead team best practices in design, development, and implementation
  • Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Deliver Lakehouse solutions/architectures

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in software architecture and solution design
  • Specialized expertise in Python and Spark
  • Ability to provide technical direction and set high standards for code quality and optimization
  • Skilled in leveraging automation tools and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Exceptional communicator who can translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial Services expertise with Equity and Fixed Income asset classes
  • Working knowledge of Indices
