Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a senior associate. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients.

  • You will be responsible for understanding clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industry-related IFRS or GAAP and GAAS issues.
  • You will develop and demonstrate an understanding of the RSM audit approach, methodology and tools.
  • You will perform audit procedures and tests in accordance with the RSM audit methodology based overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed.
  • You will identify areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues; discuss with engagement teams to solve issues that arise.
  • You will research technical accounting issues.
  • You will develop industry expertise.
  • You will prepare audit reports, and management letters.
  • You will exercise professional skepticism, judgment and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements.
  • You will ensure that documentation is compliant with quality standards of the firm.
  • You will work collaboratively as a part of the team and communicate effectively with RSM audit professionals.
  • You will provide supervision and development training for associates.
  • You will take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses to internal and external clients.
  • You will provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables.
  • You will ensure professional development through ongoing education.
  • You will participate in a range of projects and open to collaborate and work with multiple teams; demonstrating critical thinking, problem solving, initiative and timely completion of work.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Commerce/MBA.
  • Qualified CA/ ACCA/ Licensed CPA.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience working in an accounting and audit related field specifically Health Care Industry.
  • Strong technical skills in accounting including IFRS or GAAP and GAAS.
  • Strong Data Analytical skills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (English) as the position requires frequent communications with RSM International clients and the United States based engagement teams.
