Collections Associate

We are looking for a highly skilled Collections Associate to join our team at Genpact. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cash application processes and be able to perform day-to-day operations while maintaining service level agreements (SLAs). They will be responsible for making collection calls, emailing/faxing invoices, and resolving unidentified cash and end-to-end process of cash applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Making timely and accurate collection calls to customers, sending invoices via email or fax as required, and obtaining hard copies if necessary.
- Identifying and resolving unidentified cash discrepancies through thorough investigation and analysis.
- Processing cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites, ensuring timely completion of Daily Receipt Reconciliation (DRR) in an accurate and confidential manner.
- Following up on customer/internal disputes, answering customer inquiries, and collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues.
- Reconciling orders to match customer books, validating credits/debits, and sending them to customers for collection/refund.
- Providing exceptional customer service by addressing customer-related queries efficiently.
Requirements
- A strong background in collections or a related field, preferably with less than 2 years of experience.
- Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000-$55,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
