Job Overview:

Arm is driving innovation in silicon chip design, focusing on premium mobile, infrastructure, and automotive markets. Our team is developing outstanding silicon demonstrators using the latest nodes and SoC technology.

  • Owning full chip and block level constraints development and timing closure throughout the project cycle.
  • Collaborating with multi-functional teams to resolve complex timing issues for major SoC building blocks.
  • Generating timing/functional ECOs at different logical hierarchical levels and coordinating with the team for implementation.
Responsibilities:

As a key member of our team, you will develop and own full chip and block level timing constraints, ensuring timely project completion.

  • Proficient in EDA tools for constraints generation and validation.
  • Developing and maintaining methodologies and flows related to timing constraints generation/verification and closure.
  • ECO generation at block and top levels, with effective handshaking with the team for timing/functional ECO implementation.
  • Improving existing methodologies and flows to enhance overall efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in developing and validating timing constraints for complete SoCs and blocks.
  • Knowledge of timing corners/modes, process variations, and signal integrity issues.
  • Timing closure expertise for complex power domain blocks.
  • Collaboration experience with silicon engineering groups and EDA vendors.
  • 8+ years of experience in Synthesis and Timing constraints.
  • Proven experience in timing closures on 5nm or 3nm technologies.
Nice to Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering.
  • Coding skills in Python, Perl, or TCL.
  • Strong presentation skills.
