Job Title: Application Development Manager

Our client, Expert Executive Recruiters (EER Global), is seeking an experienced Application Development Manager to lead their cybersecurity solutions team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective products and technology solutions to fortify cybersecurity across both offense and defense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's core cybersecurity business domain and communicate effectively with clients, business stakeholders, and practice heads to build relationships and drive product development.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of customer experience and ideate on new product features, improvements, and gaps to grow market share and customer engagement.
  • Draw detailed product roadmaps and drive continuous improvement in product features of existing solutions, translating product strategy into requirements, technical design, and developing core components of the technical architecture.
  • Be a role model to a team of cybersecurity technologists, demonstrating the highest standards in technology design and development, and continuously improving capabilities in building SaaS solutions.
  • Contribute to key application development functions, including requirements management, application design/development, delivery/project management, application IT/security, production support, release/environment management.
  • Participate in industry events, road shows, and client demonstrations to solicit market and customer feedback.
  • Lead technology solutions on new project requirements and provide subject matter insight to prepare estimates, prioritize based on customer and business impact.
  • Explore modern technologies and experiment with their adoption for efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Be a point of contact to the leadership team to drive new product development initiatives, proactively tracking project progress, tracking, and risk mitigation through metrics and statistics.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years.
  • Desired Skills:
    • 10-14 years of experience in product development with at least 3-5 years of proven ability in managing sizeable enterprise-grade applications on AWS platform.
    • Deep expertise in architecture, design, and development of software applications using ReactJS, React native, NodeJS.
    • Product development on Microsoft .NET tech stack, with Web Technologies, SQL Server, and integration of MS Office applications will be an added advantage.
    • Experience in developing secure applications, UI/UX designs, database application design, application performance, scaling, enterprise-level integration, and messaging systems.
    • Strong understanding of software development processes with the ability to manage all aspects of a successful product lifecycle.
    • Proven experience working with stakeholders to help define product requirements for complex systems based on outlined strategic technology platforms.
    • Proven experience delivering agile solutions and application lifecycle management in an AWS and .NET environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix setup. Be a self-starter, dynamic, and a go-getter in working with stakeholders and driving problem solutions to closure.
    • Experience working with cybersecurity products and/or services industry would be an advantage.
    • Sound academic record with an achiever's track record in product management profession.
    • Exposure to digital transformation technologies like data warehouse, data visualization, analytics, AI, ML, GenAI will be preferred.
