Job Opportunity: Lead Automation Strategy

Job Description:

This role contributes to Process Automation for Energy Industries, driving innovation and excellence.

  • Develop automation solutions for Gas Turbine applications, aligning with customer needs and business goals.
  • Provide technical guidance during the proposal phase, collaborating with sales organizations.
  • Prepare tailored automation solutions for customers across the Americas region.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with engineers supports drafting and refinement of automation solutions.
  • Tackle complex engineering challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, delivering innovative and high-impact technical offerings.
  • Act as a key technical interface with customers, translating requirements into actionable automation strategies.
  • Contribute to the competitiveness and growth of the Power Generation Automation business through high-quality technical leadership.

Key Requirements include:

  • 10-15 years of experience in automation
  • Proven track record of executing projects with Gas Turbine OEM control systems
  • Strong understanding of power plant operations, control philosophy, and control system architecture
  • Proficient in field instrumentation and ABB DCS platforms
  • Familiarity with third-party communication interfaces and current IT/networking practices
  • Experience in building and leading engineering teams with Gas Turbine competency
  • Strong skills in system architecture, algorithms, and writing clean code
  • Willingness to travel internationally for project and sales support
  • Graduation in B.E./B. Tech. (Electronics/Control and instrumentation)
