Job Title:

We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to assume responsibility for managing financial records and providing high-quality accounting services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, utilizing Excel and QuickBooks Online software.
  • Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including GST/HST/PST, corporate tax, and payroll taxes, in collaboration with senior advisors.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive working paper packages for financial statements, demonstrating expertise in accounting standards (IFRS/ASPE/GAAP).
  • Client Onboarding: Proven experience in onboarding clients, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into accounting systems and processes.
  • Data Management: Conduct data entry tasks as needed, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare corporate tax returns and related documentation, demonstrating strong grasp of taxation and compliance.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee payroll tasks, including client onboarding, payroll processing, and employee communication.
Preferred Tools & Software Proficiency:
  • QuickBooks Online experience is preferred.
  • Xero and online cloud accounting software proficiency will be an added advantage.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, is mandatory.
Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field (e.g., B.Com, M.Com, CAs).
  • Inter CAs looking for employment or those who have completed articleship may also apply.
Skills:
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to work independently, and collaborative spirit.
  • Ability to handle multiple clients and work pressure while maintaining professionalism.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with clients.

Requirements: Reliable internet connection, laptop, and suitable home office environment. Ability to adapt to variable work schedules and time zones during winter months.
