Job Summary:

As a seasoned Sr Business Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the Information Systems (IS) department, working closely with Accounting & Finance business partners to drive the development of new features. Your responsibilities will include writing user stories, establishing business priorities, participating in design, and leading the testing and training of those new features. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating support issues and partnering with fellow BSA's to ensure the smooth operation of our Oracle EBS system.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Leverage Agile Development methodologies to identify critical functionality or performance gaps, breaking down high-level information into epics and stories that solve underlying problems.
  • Partner with Finance business team members to understand business needs and assist with prioritization of stories in the Jira system.
  • Collaborate with ERP Business Systems Analyst team members to support hands-on configuration of Oracle EBS modules to meet business requirements and design.
  • Act as a liaison between business partners & stakeholders and development resources to integrate other business-critical systems with EBS.
  • Understand the challenges of turning designs and business requirements into technical solutions across various web / mobile platforms.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed documentation in the form of user stories, training material, and configuration documentation.
  • Ensure documentation meets applicable SOX and FDA regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Compliance team to ensure continued system compliance to applicable system regulations.
  • Strive to deliver what the business needs, not necessarily what was asked for.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5+ years as an Oracle EBS Business Systems Analyst, Oracle EBS version 12.x or higher preferred, with experience in Financial modules.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining all financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and AGIS.
  • Experience with one or more full-life cycle implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with BSAs supporting other modules to create integrated solutions.
  • Experience implementing EBS for legal entities outside the U.S.
  • Experience writing epics and user stories to document business process requirements.
  • Experience reading and writing basic SQL queries and manipulating data in Oracle EBS.
  • Experience documenting and managing user acceptance testing.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum development environments.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word.
  • Experience in developing process flows using Microsoft Visio.
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with key business teams.
  • Experience with overall software development life cycle and phases.
  • Experience quickly understanding business processes and identifying technical solutions.
  • Experience managing multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities.
  • Good to excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team and support fellow team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience implementing Oracle localizations in support of statutory requirements.
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira & Confluence.
  • Prior experience as an Accountant or Financial Analyst.
  • Experience with SOX-audited Oracle environments.
  • Experience with FDA and international medical devices regulatory processes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting computer system validations.
  • Effective ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field preferred. Equivalent, demonstrated experience will also be considered.

This position primarily works in an office environment, requiring frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. Some travel, both international/local, is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver's license is required.
