Senior Performance Testing QA Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Senior QA Engineer with expertise in Application Performance and Regression Testing.

This role is crucial for ensuring the stability, scalability, and reliability of our enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of application performance engineering expertise, meticulous regression testing practices, and a solid understanding of cloud-native architectures.

You will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance and regression tests, identifying critical bottlenecks, and ensuring seamless application functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Performance Testing & Engineering:
    • Design comprehensive performance test plans and strategies for complex enterprise applications.
    • Create and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter or similar.
    • Monitor and analyze application performance metrics to identify areas for optimization.
  • Regression Testing (Cloud Migration Focus):
    • Develop robust regression test suites to ensure new features and bug fixes do not introduce defects.
    • Verify migrated applications within AWS and Azure environments, focusing on application-level functionality and data consistency.
  • Defect Management & Reporting:
    • Identify, document, and track defects related to application functionality and performance.
    • Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and troubleshoot defect resolution.
  • Collaboration & Best Practices:
    • Contribute to improving performance and regression testing methodologies and processes.
    • Work with development teams to incorporate performance testing best practices early in the development lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Application Performance Testing and Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in Application Regression Testing in complex enterprise environments.
