Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering Head to lead the successful delivery of engineering services and solutions for our Plant Engineering Business Unit.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering project management, operations delivery, and plant engineering processes. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.

In-depth hands-on experience in handling multidiscipline large engineering projects is preferred. Should have experience of handling team sizes of 300+ resources executing projects for large customers across various geographies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the delivery of plant engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring effective resource allocation, task management, and career development.
  • Act as the main point of contact between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals, expectations, timelines, and preparation of reports.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ensure all engineering processes and deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven working experience in a leadership role in plant engineering services organization.
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (PMI) are desirable.
  • Strong multidisciplinary knowledge, especially in process, piping, mechanical, structural, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
  • Experience in handling multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
