About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for ERP Systems to join our team at Oracle.

About the Job

This role is responsible for providing continuous support to Product Development, Quality, and Product Management teams by developing new standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.

In this role, you will work closely with Development, Quality, and Release engineering teams to support, maintain, and configure environments – including building and deploying applications and tools, configuring product mastering and delivery, patching, and troubleshooting across various operating systems and database servers.

You will also be responsible for supporting ongoing automation projects towards developing a provisioning system and framework enhancements.

Apart from this, you will handle complex projects and train and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding existing processes for provisioning environments and automating the same.
  • Setting up Web Servers, Database servers, and clients, third-party tools etc.
  • Patching environments.
  • Work closely with Engineering teams to create test and provisioning strategy.
  • Maintenance of hosted environments.
  • Test stack upgrades, includes OS, DB, Web Servers etc.
  • Handle service requests and troubleshooting of environments.
  • Maintain documentation.
  • Operate both independently and as part of a team, often as the primary contact for Engineering teams.
  • Cooperate with others within and outside the group who impact work processes to achieve group objectives.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in a relevant field (MCA or equivalent) and 5-10 years of JD Edwards CNC experience.

You must demonstrate excellent knowledge of functional areas and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

You should also be self-motivated with the ability to work well in groups and independently, having attention to details, strong analytical, and engineering skills.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate good project management and decision-making skills.
  • Versatile experience in application management & support, user interaction, and issue resolution.
  • Rich knowledge in JD Edwards Enterprise One (Xe, , , , installation, upgrade, CNC administration, technical and development tools, Oracle, SQL databases.
  • Exposure & working experience in Linux, Windows, and iSeries AS/400 operating systems.
  • E1 Tools Upgrade.
  • Package builds.
  • Weblogic & WebSphere administration.
  • Extensive multi-foundation experience, ESU's (planner & non-planner) software updates (ASUs), baseline, and tools release upgrade/rolling back to existing release.
  • Rolling down E1 Interoperability methodologies like BSSV server, RTE Transaction server into E1 architecture, setup and configuration, troubleshooting.
  • Real-time troubleshooting.
  • Performing various types of security: User-based, System-based, Action security.
  • Performed OCM modifications (local & Server) as when required.
  • Worked on JDE Kernel configuration and recycling mechanism.
  • Mapped path codes, Environments, data sources.
  • Object Management Workbench (OMW) & development lifecycles.
About Our Offer

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
