Job Description
We're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team as an APAC Data Center Electrical Specialist. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge electrical designs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead data center electrical designs, ensuring they meet or exceed quality requirements and are delivered within budget.
- Collaborate with local utilities to understand and define site utility requirements, and participate in site selection reviews.
- Design critical data center equipment, including site-wide MV infrastructure, generators, uninterruptible power supplies, switchgear, transformers, and earthing.
- Work with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify appropriate electrical equipment, and ensure compliance with IEC requirements and APAC-wide design codes.
- Provide technical support for information requests prior to and during construction phases, and review and approve equipment submittals.
- Travel to sites for site review and work with onsite field engineers, as well as provide engineering evaluations, electrical systems audits, and startup as needed.
