Job Overview

The System Administration Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and reliability of our organization's IT infrastructure.

  • Ensure high availability and optimal performance of servers, networks, and systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to servers, networks, and software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access and threats.
  • Regularly update and patch systems with latest security and software enhancements.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels for proper security protocols.
  • Collaborate with vendors to evaluate new hardware and software solutions.

Other responsibilities include creating documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures, planning and performing system backups and disaster recovery procedures, and providing technical support and assistance to end-users addressing their IT-related inquiries.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar IT role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems and virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, networking protocols, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with system monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
